Laura Abram
Founding Partner
Laura Abram is a marketing and communications consultant and former executive of the technology and renewable energy industries. She's a founding partner of Invisor Consulting, a Silicon Valley-based management consulting firm that provides business strategy, executive coaching, and speaking services to CEOs and management teams of small and mid-sized technology companies.
A 20+-year veteran of the high-tech and renewable energy industries, Abram was formerly Director of Corporate Marketing and Communications at several start-ups: OptiSolar, a solar energy company acquired by First Solar; Dust Networks, a leader in wireless sensor networking; and Tessera Technologies, now a highly successful public company.
Abram previously held executive-level communications positions with Fortune 1000 public companies VLSI Technology, later acquired by Phillips; National Semiconductor; and Tandem Computers, where she began her high-tech career.
Abram has worked closely with CEOs and executive management teams to drive and execute communication, repositioning, branding, change management, and IPO strategies. Her straight-forward approach and persistent dedication to getting things done right has earned her the trust and respect of many of Silicon Valley’s leading executives.
Abram has a BA in communications from Sonoma State University. Originally from New York, she now lives in Woodside, California, with her husband and two children.
